The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act

The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) became fully in force on January 1, 2004. This federal legislation requires Little League Baseball Canada to comply with all provisions of the Act wherever we operate in Canada. The only exception to this is in those provinces where similar legislation has been enacted. To date, only B.C., Alberta and Ontario have similar legislation.

The President of Little League Baseball Canada is the designated contact for complaints and inquiries regarding Little League Canada's compliance to this Act.

Each Little League in Canada will adhere to this Act, or to similar legislation if enacted in your province of residence. For individual Little Leagues in Canada, the contact person for complaints and inquiries about this legislation is the President of the Local League. If your concern is about personal information collected or safeguarded by your local league, please contact your local league president. If you do not know who the local League president, please contact Little League Baseball Canada at 613-731-3301.
