Little League Programs

Little League Baseball Canada offers baseball and softball programs to youth ages 4 to 18 years old.

Tee Ball

Created to give 4 to 7 year old children and their parents an introductory experience to baseball and softball by creating a safe, caring, fun activity as they learn the basic skills of the game.

Baseball Programs

Minor League Baseball
  • For players 7 to 12 years old.
  • Limited tournament play.
Little League Baseball (Inaugurated in 1939)
  • For players 9 to 12 years old.
  • Full range of tournament play.
Intermediate (50-70) Baseball Divison (Inaugurated in 2013)
  • For players 11 to 13 years old.
  • Full range of tournament play.
Junior League Baseball (Inaugurated in 1981)
  • For players 13 to 14 years old.
  • Full range of tournament play.
Senior League Baseball (Inaugurated in 1961)
  • For players 13 to 16 years old.
  • Full range of tournament play.
Big League Baseball (Inaugurated in 1968)
  • For players 15 to 18 years old.
  • Full range of tournament play.

Softball Programs

Minor League Softball
  • For girls 7 to 12 years old.
  • Limited tournament play.

Junior League Softball (Inaugurated in 1999)
  • For girls 12 to 14 years old.
  • Tournament play is available.
Senior League Softball (Inaugurated in 1974)
  • For girls 13 to 16 years old.
  • Tournament play is available.
Big League Softball (Inaugurated in 1980)
  • For girls 14 to 18 years old.
  • Tournament play is available.

Challenger Division (Inaugurated in 1988)

For the cognitively and physically challenged youth age 4 to 18 years old to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities.
